Beginning in the 1980's, messing around with computers was a hobby of mine. Finding a good deal in hardware and software was always challenging.

Finding a deal before the Internet was even a greater challenge. It is not about buying 'junk' but getting a great deal on the technology you need. That is the only criteria.

Buying on the basis of the advertising of inflated specifications has become a costly game. It is my greatest pet peeve.
